Reader comments about this quote:
The statement is absolutely true and heinous to its core. Elected and non-elected malefactors, by way of example: politicos, teachers, bankers, media, and enforcement personnel, have propagated freedom, liberty, morality, peace, and multi-generational prosperity's ultimate destruction for the vain purposes of feeding their egos, personal power, profiteering, and for lack of a desire to embody personal responsibility; all the while willing slaves cry to be taken care of, cradle to grave. America was the last sanctuary for those that loved freedom, liberty, morality where the individual sovereign recognized the nobility of the individual, voluntary service to his fellow man and all else as was/is/will continue to be in harmony with law,, peace, prosperity, and perpetual happiness. That America is gone, the States United have vanished.! Welcome to the new order, Amerika the Socialist Union.

In a democracy, the people can be tricked to vote away their rights and freedom, and socialism is a con. Gus Hall is unfortunately right, and Amerika is goosestepping steadily towards the well-planned ends of the NWO.

Is anyone besides me tired of the terms fascism, socialism, and communism being used interchangeably? and of the comparisons between democracy and Nazism? and of the phrase "America's not a democracy; it's a republic," when in fact a republic is a KIND of democracy, as any person with a middle elementary education-on should know?

Why did a little nationality like the Finns become such a force in the communist and socialist movement? The answer is simple and I believe that Gus Hall said something like this: "It is easy to be a communist when you are forced to live in woods eating roots and berries." An American industrialist brought in Irish and Welch scabs to cross the picket lines of Finns striking for better wages, that is why on St. Patrick's Day the Finnish-American celebrate St. Urho who drove the bugs out of Finland

To answer your question Anonymous, no I am not tired of the terms we use here and I would wager most of the others who frequent this website would agree with me.

It seems Anonymous still wishes to divide the common goal of that which " Good Is ". Yes we do Mike, Pleasant Hill. thank you.
" Precise limits on government " to defend the sovereign individuals right ( justice ) defense of ( one's life, liberty and property ).
" If government powers extend further into philanthropic endeavors, government becomes so limitless that it can grow endlessly " Bastiat.
As far as Legislators are concerned, " I do not dispute their right to invent social combinations, to advertise them, to advocate them, and to try them on themselves, AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE and RISK. But I do dispute their right to impose these plans upon us by law - by force- and to compel us to pay for them with our taxes." Bastiat.
The collective conscience of that which " Good Is " grows whether current socialistic powers in place like it or not ! The Spirit of Truth is not bound by the slight or fancy of egotistical man. The seas do calm and the rough wind is stayed in the day of the east wind. " Who is wise, and he shall understand these things ? prudent , and he shall know them ? for the ways of the Lord are ( Right ), and the Just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein." ( Hosea 14:9 ) He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity. Socialism is the dupe and miss direction of patriotism by corrupt legislators !

@Mike, Norwalk, 10 stars! America is not gone, though. The battle for Liberty didn't end with the American Revolution -- the ideal wasn't fully realized then, and it isn't fully realized now. And the game is bigger -- there are plenty more nations shackled, indentured, and enslaved worse than the American. The next Freedom Revolution will probably come from within a different nation than the USA, and they will find in Americans (if not their government) plenty of support and a rejuvenation of the founding principles of true self-determination and personal responsibility. Even with the economy in the tank, the average American has more freedom, power, wealth, property than in the days of Thomas Jefferson -- this is due to the continuous struggle of Americans in everyday life. Every battle is not won, and not every battle front is known to the people. But the process of awakening WORLDWIDE is occurring.

We can't vote our responsibility away without one day having to fight to reclaim it. It is a hefty price to pay for empty promises.

Anonymous is a socialist shill, whether he/she knows it or not.

Communism or Socialism will come to America over my dead body.  We will not have it!   It's been tried and has failed in other nations. It would be insane to vote for anyone who leans that way....Bernie, go to Hades...We don't want you

Leftists have sold Americans the lie that our republic is a "wonderful democracy" and the non-producers have found out it is far easier to vote for a living than it is to work for one.  George Hilbert is correct.  The lazy, envious class has voted for plenty of socialism already.

Bonnie, are you aware of America's implementation of the 2nd plank of the communist manifesto (as well as the rest of the 10 planks), Social Security, police enforcement of compelled compliance, government licensing, the central government paying farmers not to grow food, and otherwise central government's control over the means of production and distribution?

Anonymous, it is obvious you attended a socialistic government’s disinformation middle indoctrination center. FYI, traditional socialism is any of various religions, theories and systems in which the means of producing and distribution of goods, religion and life style is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls chattel (We The People) through social cultural means, critical theory as well as the economy.

Fascism is a form of socialism that is administered through corporations and other State entities. Communism is a form of socialism that is administered through self dominating nomenclature (owned and operated in the name of the State). The acronym “Nazi” stood for the “The National Socialist German Workers’ Party”. Germany’s totalitarianism adopted a fascist form socialism through democracy.

There are four (4) Terms that are misused, confused and otherwise incorrectly abused - by an extremely terse term explanation. Any of various religions, theories or systems in which the means of producing and distribution of goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls chattel (We The People) through social cultural means, critical theory as well as the economy

    DEMOCRACY:

Democracy is: “That form of government in which the sovereign power is exercised by the people in a body,” (Bouvier’s Law Dictionary) Democracy can not perceive or identify a single person or individual (inclusive of the rights, liberty or law thereof) - its domain or realm is solely limited to recognizing an inorganic whole’s ostensively supposed will. By democracy’s definition and practice, there is no individual sovereignty, personal rights, liberty, nature’s law or anything outside a mobs will. Attributed to Benjamin Franklin is a quote that describes democracy well: “Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for supper. Freedom is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.”

    DEMOCRATIC PROCESS:

Democratic process describes a procedurally measured system that maintains “A series of actions, motions, or occurrences; a method, mode, or operation, whereby a result or effect to produced.” (West’s Encyclopedia of American Law, ed. 2.) A “democratic process” may be useful in a democracy, a republic or a republican form government (it is NOT exclusive to democracy). A “democratic process” also simply indicates, one (1) man, one (1) vote (no reference to outcome, form of government {democracy, monarchy, republican, de facto, de jure, etc.}) or, choice between liberty or slavery.

    REPUBLIC:

A Republic is primarily separated into ostensibly differing references. By example:
    1) A “republic” is “A commonwealth; that form of government in which the administration of affairs is open to all the citizens.”
    2) “In another sense, it signifies the state, independently of its form of government.” (Bouvier’s Law Dictionary)
A democracy perceives a/the “body” - people or otherwise are an inconsequential annoyance only required for voting; while, a republic administers the affairs of each citizen.
    3) A republic can also be the term that describes the specific boarder (boundaries) of a particular jurisdiction, not denoting any system of body politic application.

    REPUBLICAN FORM OF GOVERNMENT:

A republican form of government (see Article IV Section 4 U.S. Constitution) is an egalitarian based system where individual sentient sovereigns exercise personal inalienable rights and liberty at “the laws of nature and of nature’s God” (Declaration of Independence). A resulting consortium, as a body politic (hired, elected or otherwise) has no rights but duties only AND, does (do) NOT represent any individual (personally or in concert) but rather, is to administer a limited “legislative”, “executive” and “judicial” charge of inalienable rights and liberty at the "laws of nature and of nature’s God".

Socialism arrives with the example of the responsible adult.

Sillik, I smile at your consistence of following one of you god's edicts: "A lie told often enough becomes the truth. (Lenin) And by the way, responsible adults have absolutely nothing to do with socialism. If an adult is responsible for socialism, he is the cause of slavery, pain, death, poverty, immorality, chaos, lowering of IQs and all things contrary to law! ! !

Socialists have a twisted view of 'responsibility' constantly laying claim to what is not theirs, always blaming others for the condition and quality of their lives.  They are 'accusers' and thieves.
