"The successful politician owes his power to the fact that he moves within the accepted framework of thought, that he thinks and talks conventionally. It would be almost a contradiction in terms for a politician to be a leader in the field of ideas. His task in a democracy is to find out what the opinions held by the largest number are, not to give currency to new opinions which may become the majority view in some distant future."

SO true! First the 'unseen' forces use the media and schools to push the agendas and policies that will strengthen their power, then get the populace to parrot what they have been told, then the power hungry politicians repeat it again to get elected. All the while truth, justice, and liberty are buried in donkey doo.

Once upon a time in a land far, far away, a free people identified themselves as the land of the free and home of the brave. Alas, the envisioned liberty and foundation of freedom of that extinct time and place has been replaced by an occupying statist theocracy that denigrates with a dummied down populace of majority opinions (a diluted government of men, as is diametrically opposed to a government of law).

Let's support him with tax reform and many other changes that we need.
