So it follows that debt slavery IS the result of war. A cold war but a war nonetheless.

    BS. Credit or debt makes the world go round. When I have debt and the things debt has acquired for me I then know and can look at what I am working for. Unmanageable debt is a noose most often of ones own choosing. Those who admire gold and capital formation must also admire debt and credit. All capital is invested in hard assets or loaned to others for the sole purpose of returning a profit. Yes the hard assets buildings and machinery owe a debt back to the capital lender. Debt such as the Reagans, Bushes, and Cheney's have passed on to posterity are not a debt of posterities own choosing but yes has put them in a place of sevitude to service the debt of others.

    When you are not in debt, you are free. When you are in debt, you are a slave to the future payment of that debt. This is true when the debt is voluntarily incurred, but much more insidious when the debt is incurred by the actions of a government or a central bank. We've been fat dumb and happy for almost 100 years, riding the exponentially inflating debt bubble created by bad monetary policy, and the bill is coming due sooner than we think. I hear Zimbabwe is about to issue a $100,000,000,000,000 note.

    An inconvenient truth. Waffler is speaking gibberish again. Remember that it is Congress that spends, not the president. And, the state of the economy is not always the result of the current administration but the result of decades of deficit borrowing. Just be clear -- today, our money system is completely debt-based -- money cannot come into existence today without it being 'borrowed' which is a paradox -- how can you borrow something that does not exist? Every single dollar in circulation has been 'borrowed,' whether it be in the form of a federal reserve note, bank check, or credit line, and interest is being paid by someone somewhere on every dollar in circulation. Actually bankruptcy is the only way to keep these 'bills' in circulation without having to pay them back -- which is why we should simply declare bankruptcy and be done with it. Let the dust settle and get back to a hard currency and a social credit system whereby it is the option of the seller to accept fiat currency or not and thus bear the risk that comes with an inflationary currency. In order to prevent bad money from replacing good (Grisham's Law) the buyers and sellers must have the option to insist on cash (i.e. hard currency) payment rather than credit.

    (-; the latest;-) The trillion or so to be borrowed for the stimulus package will have to be sold to realize fruition of usable credit. China and others are running out of ability to float the US any more so the Federal Reserve has offered to buy the government's 30 year note. hmm, I just say hmmm while shaking my head.

    oops, p.s. to my last comment. AND, since the Federal Reserve has been given full authority to arm itself (tanks, cannon, a full complement of regulation, SWAT ready, etc.) the above quote can then take on a whole new dimension of existence. ;-( hmmm )-;

    Debt taken on by an individual is a matter of choice not slavery. Debt taken on by government becomes slavery for some via taxation. Right now our "federal" government is running the printing presses 24/7 churning out "money" in a deadly floating crap game. Perhaps for the first time in our known history, the entire world population is at risk. We are now slaves with no master and no earthly hope of being emancipated.

    Debt is willful indentured servitude and the material pay off is immediate. Gang debt is "representative government" in action.

    JB Wulff nailed it. We have choices in the matter, except where it comes to the government borrowing non existent money out of thin air and charging you, the taxpayer, interest on that debt. Thus causing inflation and devaluing the buying power of what little money you have left after you've been gang raped by the IRS....its larceny on a grand scale.

    I think that if old Ezra would have made it clear that a government who imposes debt imposes slavery, then we would be more clear. Debt is how we do business in America. How else could you buy a house or car? How else could you send four children to college? Senseible debt is necessary for a healthy economy. It's when people start thinking of money as a "right" that we get into financial disaster.

    THERE WOULD BE NO WARS IF WARS REQUIRED TAXES! We cannot pay taxes with dollar bills that the IRS (Imaginary Revenue Scum) said "are not dollars" or with credit. The British-created Federal Reserve said their system of plunder "works (us) only with credit" that would keep its value "if there were fewer people bidding adainst each other." Wars certainly leave less people bidding credit against each other as does abortion, alum, alloxan, alcohol, aspartame, bromine, chlorination, diet soda, fluoridation, canola, carageenan, caffeine, MSG, nitrites, Nutrasweet, Splenda, sugar and God alone knows how many toxins are used to reduce how many are bidding against each other. When the majority are rewarded with credit for not producing, the ratio of production to consumption must be ruthlessly regulated lest consumption exceeds production and the system collapses as the worthless credut becomes useless credit. There can be not better way to enhance the ratio of production to consumption than to eliminate non productive consumers such as babies, retirees, cripples, military and dolts like waffler who is as useful as tits on a boar! To love credit is to love death. God promised long life if we refrained from cheating others with unjust weights. De.25:13-15 The dollar was fixed as a measure of silver but with weightless credit, we are on the thought standard as opposed to the gold or silver standard. AMERICANS ARE BEING JAILED FOR REFUSING TO CONFESS ON 1040 FORMS TO HOW MUCH THEY WERE ROBBED WITH WEIGHTLESS CREDIT. CANCER CURE SUPPRESSED 70 YEARS BECAUSE CANCER LEAVES LESS PEOPLE BIDDING AGAINST EACH OTHER --- NOT A THEORY BUT HISTORY! google: royal rife then see what Bill gates has for all of us: www.morpix.biz/gates Once again, I must say Waffler is as useful as tits on a boar!

    Being out of debt does not make you free wrhen our misleaders are taking everything without paying for anything. The sole function of "honest" Abe's legal tender laws is to take labor and property without payment, For a real education, google: www.morpix.biz/ the first thing that appears may not interest you but you will tell others about the rest! I have not seen much of it but I doubt if you will see anything or much for sale.

    How can government get money from us when all that we have in banks is numbers? WHY would they need money when all of us are risking our lives for more numbers? WHY DON''T ALL WHO ARE READING THIS PASS IT ON?

    Oppression, all that you possess, is taxed. Slaves to socialism. and with all the economic theory, you cannot reform it. The Case for Constructive Fraud, comes forth. One needs to remember as a small farmer, barter for seed came by way of eggs and chickens in the winter with a small line of credit at the merchants store. They sold your eggs, and your cotton went to the gin. The doctor came to your house, the children were born at home. And many times you died in the bed you were born in. In the house that your great grandfather built. Now we are slaves. then were we free.

    There is Power in a Good piece of ground, that can never be taken away. Such is the foundation our Republic is built upon. Let every man take heed how he build there on. The construct of socialism must be abolished to restore Liberty.
