"If you are neutral in situations of injustice,
you have chosen the side of the oppressor.
If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse
and you say that you are neutral,
the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality."
Bishop Desmond Tutu

I love Desmond Tutu - a lotus leaf above a sea of iniquity.

Robert, are you the Rsbq (or what ever it was of ancient history) ? If so, welcome back.

Injustice as associates with natural law makes the statement an ABSOLUTE ! Thereafter, oppression would have to be defined. To the religious zealot of atheistic socialism, freedom, liberty, and an individual sovereign's inalienable rights are considered oppressive.

Amen Mike, I never cared much for Tutu he always seemed to be aligned with the social justice progressive crowd, context and most certainly definitions are required.

The greatest display of a Republic under Christian doctrines of Liberty and Freedom ever made on the world stage. That is of course Paul's doctrines of liberty and freedom. Which has and is the thorn in the side of all apostate denominations within our country and abroad. Remember the tyrannical rule of the central bank, and central church from which we fled. Now through a methodical encroachment of immigration, fiscal and doctrinal. Perverting by way of unnatural law our liberty and freedom. Ancient liberty exposed by way of the man who wrote half the New Testament, and of which Martin Luther, and many, many more made their stand. As my Forefathers literally embraced these truths. This before the revolution of 1776 by some 130 years when my forefathers moved here. The inspiration and boldness, tenacity of these bloodlines remains true. If a person male or female believes in the God of creation as referenced in our Constitution granting Liberty and Freedom by way of natural law, their baggage of laws unnatural, must be dropt at the door ! Less they infringe on me. We are not neutral but Know in whom we have believed and he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. Liberty and Freedom. The God or our Constitution is color blind. But must be embraced. Tutu speaks of a truth, not the whole truth.

I dropped this so called preacher way back when he said, "The United States can go to hell."

Cal, spoken like a true denominationalist . Stings a bit doesn't it ! God is not a respecter of persons nor is our Declaration of Independence . Get a grip of freedom and liberty. It is not for private interpretation !!
