I would have said "O security, what liberties are taken in thy name!"

Not exactly sure how to rate this one, thumbs down for the reality thereof or, 5 stars for the accuracy. In the name of freedom, unalienable rights are deemed illegalities so that a most powerful despot can give special privileges, inclusive with titles of nobility (such as spouse (husband or wife), contractor, owner, etc.). Under the name of freedom, larceny is deemed liberty when theft of the noble laborer's fruit is justified under the delusion of security. ETC., ETC., ETC.

It is the freedom without the accompanying responsibilities and duties that leads to the libertine society. More than anything I want liberty, i.e. the complete package of freedom and responsibility, rather than freedom alone.

It's as clear as the day is long. Ten stars... And yet the war criminals shout from the rooftops "War in the name of Freedom and Democracy" while they crap all over you. What hypocrisy this nation is built on (sand); and, in a big storm all hell will break lose.

There is definitly a number of things (liberties) that can be taken in the name of freedom so I let the quote speak for itself rather than name another liberty.
