OK, then what is the Truth?

The "coalition of willing nations" that GWB speaks of is more like the "coalition of billing corporations" and has nothing to do with so called terrorism. There's a little truth for ya! :)

The truth is, the law of Nature is inexorable. If a nation adopts theft (income tax, SS, property tax, funny money, etc.) as law, it will eventually die. Un-natural partners can not marry (reproduce) so the specie will die. If men pollute the earth to a point of no return, they will die while, other life will continue. etc., etc., etc.

A natural law is simply a phenomenon of nature that has been proven to invariably occur whenever certain conditions exis, otherwise it is not a law of nature. We do not choose to follow the Law od Gravity, or Newton's Laws of Motion, for example. The quote is meaningless.

The laws of economics cannot be repealed either. Try as many have to try to shape human beings to some socialist dystopia, in the end human nature will win. When someone has the rewards of their labor stolen from them they will stop working. When someone is given anything for free, they will take until there is no more. By the way, why is that to some people every quote relates to George Bush? I suppose many people suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS), a severe form obsessive/compulsive disorder related to liberalism.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FOLLOW THE TRUTH IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT. THE MOST REPEATED LIE: GOVERNMENT SPENDS MONEY---THEY DON'T EVEN SPEND PAPER!

The truth is the truth whether we know it or not. It is what it is. The law of gravity requires no board of directors, is not subject to vote, and applies to all equally. Humankind 'discovers' what we believe to be 'laws of nature' but these discoveries are still theoretical. Those theories that have withstood the test of time we call 'laws' and throughout civilization these 'laws' have been under constant review. The degree to which civilization lives in harmony with 'what is so' the better chance of its survival. That is why it boggles my mind to see 21st century 'civilization' propped up by so many illusions, delusions, and deceptions -- if this quote is true, then only that which is 'true' can stand. That's why as part of our growth as a civilization and a species the search for truth is indeed paramount, and to act in concert with it is our only true 'salvation'.

The truth is that no one actually knows the truth. People believe what they percieve after filtering out or adding to their perceptions based upon their own biases and experiences. That is why for centuries scientists were certain that the world was flat, the sun orbited the earth, and a dozen people who observe the same event will have 12 different stories about what occured. Believing that you actually know the truth is hubris.

Jack — WHAT ? ? ?  Okay, your nature's law definition is close enough for grenades and nuclear bombs. The "truth" is; "the actual state of things". (Bouvier's Law Dictionary) The truth is, by your nature's law definition, the actual state of existence that we choose to follow (or not)  is because, it just "IS". The quote is spot on.

What is the truth?  Whatever people purposely try to cover up with lies.  Start there, the big picture is revealed piece by piece.

Why will a person lie?  If nothing is true than a lie would be unnecessary?  It is just more of the same racket to say that 'anything' can be true.  Usually spoken in defense in order to place the onus on the one being lied to to prove it.

Changing the meaning of plain language is used to make lies sound true and veil the truth.  A purposeful lie is proof that there is real truth.

"Did you eat that cookie?"  Either you did or you didn't.  If you did and you say 'No' you are lying.  The truth is simple, only liars (who eventually believe their own lies) say the truth is whatever you believe is true.

Is it so surprising then that it is said by the wise that this world is one of delusion?  Start first by telling the truth, and look to why you lie.  Ever the path grows narrower...
