And what is truth?

Cal, certainly nothing you hear on TV news. So the search must be continued...

Honesty ! is a good start. Truth seeks reality. " Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Psalm 119:160 KJB. Truth is ordained by the God of Nature and his natural law in harmony with Liberty and Freedom. The quote is spoken in a passive stance. Not pro-active. If it were not our Founding Fathers task to secure it, for their children, then there would not have been a revolution !

We may not know what the big T truth is, but we all know when we are trying to deceive someone. To be an honorable person, abstaining from deception and any other form of lies is indeed fighting on the behalf of truth, although triumph may never be secured. The same can be said of Liberty.

Liberty ordained by God is an absolute ! It is an Eternal Spirit that must be embraced and stood upon, not beside. Like the natural laws of God's nature. Some do know Archer, one cannot exclude those that do ( Ginosko, to understand completely ) know. As is the word in Eph 3:19. To be convicted by ones own conscience is the manifestation of the Eternal Spirit of Truth. One can not see it, but that does not make it, any less real.

@Ron, what language are you speaking? "Some do know Archer." Some MAY know something -- that is about as truthful as you can get. Maybe you consider yourself one who 'knows', but your writing is rather disconnected and unintelligible, so whatever knowledge you are trying to convey can hardly be categorized as 'truth.' For me, speaking honestly, is the best way of securing truth. Whereas, claiming to know 'truth' and broadcasting dogma is a far cry from securing the triumph of truth.

Blaise Pascal, Caught in the effect of the Protestant Reformation, truth moving forward in time. The central teachings, of the roman church, gendering to socialism, selling of forgiveness, purchasing of Liberty for money ! Lay your wealth at the churches feet ? Totally against the teachings of Liberty by way of, a, paul. A watchmakers term. When our Contract was signed, ! The trial began, of the experiment of setting forth, a Moral guidance of good conscience, within the Individuals United, for the Sacred cause of Liberty and Freedom. By way of emancipation of the Spirit of Truth, within the being, at Liberty from oppression. One cannot reform socialism, only endure it ! Hence his passiveness and our final outcome, of putting forth our Faith, as a Nation based on his Natural law of justification, by and through his Spirit of Truth at and of Liberty, Knowledge of Liberty hidden, but discovered by and through the Divine Providence of God toward man. The heart is Oracle, the Individual conscience bears witness, with the Spirit of Truth, hence a Living Soul. " I will put my laws in their heart, and they will be my sons and daughters. God's laws are Natures laws.

Kinda sorta? Truth being the actual state of things, gives understanding to the truth will make you free. The focus of the law of nature and of natures God (natural law) is an understanding that law exists, with or without mans existence. It is corporeal mans on going search to define that law that exists, and define it with such administrative tools as codes, ordinances, regulations, rules, statutes, etc. The closer mans tools get to truth (the actual state of things) the greater the freedom realized. Mans administrations that distance themselves from truth (socialism, Keynesian economics, compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, larceny with impunity and that which is antagonistic to an individual sovereigns life liberty and property - by way of example) enslave man with despotism, tyranny, etc.

Does the quote accurately depict mans on going discovery of truth, with his inability to ultimately define it ? I could probably give this quote 5 stars if I read the authors intent in the greater context.

God's natural law is expressed in mathematics, Period. Law exist in those that are willing to observe it ! Otherwise wisdom is used to deceive ! the less observant !

A neutral secular stand point never embraces Liberty by Faith as pertaining to our faith in God ! A plumb and square are just that ! There is not theory ! only true measurement ! Graduation by scale not imagination! God is not a respecter of persons, nor is a foreman on the job ! Put up or show your numbers !! Pertaining to God's Natural Laws of Liberty and Freedom !! Fact ! Lets talk numerical doctrine, fact of Liberty based upon that which you hear and that which you see. There are only two gates !! Covenant, Deal made with the God of Nature. Life is on the line, boys and girls !!
