    As long as someone is holding power over another, there cannot be peace. Don't confuse submission with peace. SCSURFR has a point -- as long as there is concentrated power in the hands of those that seek dominion over others, there cannot be peace. As Jefferson said, I prefer dangerous liberty to a peaceful slavery. Understanding that we live in a world in which we must defend ourselves against predators can keep those predators at bay (and thus live peacefully); however, to think that one day there will be no more predators is a Utopian dream.
